Part 7 — Plumbing Services

Section 7.1. General

7.1.1. Scope

7.1.1.1. Scope

1) The scope of this Part shall be as described in Subsection 1.3.3. of Division A.

7.1.1.2. Application

1) This Part applies to the design, construction, extension, alteration, renewal or repair of plumbing systems.

7.1.2. Design and Installation

7.1.2.1. Conformance

1) Every plumbing system shall be designed and installed in conformance with Book II (Plumbing Systems) of this Code.

1) Every plumbing system shall be designed and installed in conformance with Book II (Plumbing Systems) of this Codeappropriate provincial or territorial regulations or municipal bylaws, in the absence of such regulations or bylaws, in conformance with the National Plumbing Code of Canada 2010.

7.1.3. Required Facilities

7.1.3.1. All Buildings Except Dwelling Units

1) Buildings shall be equipped with plumbing facilities as required in Subsection 3.7.2. and Subsection 3.8.3.

7.1.3.2. Dwelling Units

1) Dwelling units shall be equipped with plumbing facilities as required in Section 9.31.
